winter in Uruguay (and eating ostrich)

Yep, its cold now. But I´m loving it.

This week we have been working super hard. We are passing through a ´dry spot´in our area, o sea, we don't have anybody who is progresing really fast to get baptized. For example, our hearts were broken this sunday when none of the 7 investigators who we planned to come to church made it to the Sacrament meeting. But thats OK, You've gotta have a broken heart if you want the blessings of the lord. Its been a real challange for us, but we are confident in the promise of the prophet Tomas Monson that he gave us in the General Conference:

"Haz lo justo, es lo mejor,
Deja el resto al Señor"
(I dont know what it is in English, but it means something like just do your best and the Lord will do the rest... )

I know that as we keep on working with all our ´heart, might, mind and strength´ the lord will be able to fufill his part, and we will meet our goal. We set the goal before the Lord of 4 baptism this month, I know that he will give us the miricles to be able to meet it.

Food of the week, Austrice (I dont remember how to spell that one in english, but the big bird) meat. Its more like beef than chicken.

Thanks for all of your prayers. I love everybody.

Elder Wilson
